Actor & Production Manager

My name is JT Talbert, III.,
I am originally from Little Rock, Arkansas and I have been acting since I was a kid. I started perfecting my craft early on in my childhood by taking Drama and Acting classes at the Fine Arts Junior/High School. I was in two theater productions “The Wiz” and “Pippin”. When I relocated to Philadelphia, PA in 1996 I decided to seek more training by attending the Freedom Theater, one of the country’s most prominent theater schools. I later become involved with G&A Productions where I was cast in my first theater principle role as Walter (a blind man), in “So Toby Writes”. That role led into another exciting opportunity where I was cast into the first play of “Amistad”. This opportunity challenged me to learn the Swahili language and I wrote two songs in the language for the play.
I moved to Charlotte, NC January of 2000 and decided to take a break from Acting and obtained my degree in Information Systems at Strayer University. In 2011 I decided to join Evolution Talent Agency where my Acting career begin to quickly take off with TV commercials, photo print jobs for corporations such as “Lowes” and “Husqvarna”, and a few TV documentaries. In 2012 Dewayne Etheridge found my biography on a website called, “Explore Talent” and cast me into his first major film called “The House of Terror” where I played a principle role as the scheming, backstabbing best friend, Tony. Dewayne was amazed at my talent and decided to cast me into his second film, “Dewayne Etheridge Presents: The Dead Don’t Die” where I played a Scientist. He decided to grow his production company and appointed me as the Production Manager for Etheridge Productions. I am now studying for another role in one of his upcoming films slated to shoot in October. I must say that Etheridge Productions have been the most exciting in my Acting career with back-to-back filming and non-stop writing, which is constantly giving me more opportunities in the film industry. I currently live in Atlanta, GA and will continue perfecting my craft with Etheridge Productions.
